The independent Boundary Commission has decided that the Enfield Southgate parliamentary constituency will cease to exist at the next General Election; voters in three of the wards presently in the constituency, Grange Park, Highfield and Winchmore Hill will transfer to a new Edmonton and Winchmore Hill constituency, while the rest of Southgate will join with four wards from Haringey to become Southgate and Wood Green.

We fought hard against this change, but sadly lost the argument.

We can assure you that your Councillors will continue to serve all the residents in their wards regardless of which constituency they are in.
